Our Own Private Hiking Trail

This easy walk begins directly at the Schadnerhof. By following the edge of the hilltops it allows for a wonderful view of the Pranten Valley, the Zisa Valley and the Etsch Valley. In about one hour one can complete the loop and realize that our farm lies on a high plateau south of Bolzano and near the Etsch valley. The only difference: we are about 1000 meters higher, which of course accounts for the breath-taking views one can enjoy troughout this trail.
Directly from the path one can reach the prehistoric hill crest “Enzpirg” in about 15 minutes and enjoy the panorama: Etsch Valley from Meran (Merano) until Salurn (Salorno), the Mendel Pass, the Texel Mountain Range, Brenta, Überetsch, Kaiser Mountain and much more.
